Why I made them

I wanted them to be more than just a display piece

The lighting was what could bring the runes on the blades to life.

I have always liked the Blades of Chaos and wanted to try making a life-size version that would stand out even in a dark room. I started with a design downloaded from Cults3D and prepared all the parts in Bambu Studio to print them on my Bambu Lab A1.

Then came the longest part: joining the pieces, preparing the LED recesses, soldering the electronics and painting each area by hand. It took many hours of work, but switching them on for the first time made it all worthwhile.
